Miss Patti Page: 1927-2013

Vocal legend Miss Patti Page, whose seven-decade career featured such hits as “The Tennessee Waltz” and “(How Much is that) Doggie in the Window?” passed away on January 1, 2013. Page earned a GRAMMY award in 1999, one year after being inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame, and is scheduled to (posthumously) receive a Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award on February 2.

Starting with her debut hit, “Confess,” in 1948, Page went on to record 80 hit singles, including four chart toppers. She sold over 100 million records throughout her illustrious career. Her last performance took place in Waltham, Massachusetts on Nov 20, 2010.
