Choirs Go to Washington D.C.

A number of choirs were tapped to help celebrate President Barak Obama’s Inauguration in Washington D.C. on January 21, 2013. Among the included were the celebrated choir of P.S. 22, from Staten Island N.Y. (featured in November, 2009 issue of Choral Director magazine), the Lee University Festival Choir of Cleveland, Tenn., and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. The National Anthem was performed by pop superstar Beyoncé.
